Xeon VPS in Brazil — RedHosting

VPS with Intel Xeon E5-2696 v4, DDR4 ECC memory and NVMe, from 2 GB to 64 GB of RAM and 2 to 24 vCPU, from R$ 21.99/month. A many-core line built to run lots of things at once: Docker, APIs, bots, Node.js, Python, websites, development and automation.

One-line summary

The Xeon line delivers more cores per plan and costs about 33% less than the Ryzen line for the same amount of memory — about 55% less per vCPU. In exchange, it has a lower clock: if you need a single task to finish fast, buy the Ryzen 9 line.

Processor

Intel Xeon E5-2696 v4, with 22 cores and 44 threads per host, and DDR4 ECC memory. It's server-class hardware designed for continuous operation — it doesn't suffer the thermal throttling of a desktop machine under long loads, and ECC memory detects and corrects bit errors at runtime.

The processor is from 2016 and has a lower clock than a current Ryzen 9. That's why the line costs less. What it still does well is core count under continuous load.

What it's for

Each use case has its own anchor on the page.

Xeon VPS or Ryzen VPS?

Both lines run in the same datacenter, with the same NVMe storage, the same Anti-DDoS protection, the same backup and the same support. What changes is the processor, the memory and the kind of load each one handles best.

When the Ryzen line is better

The Xeon E5-2696 v4 has a lower clock than a current Ryzen 9. For work that depends on a single core finishing fast, Ryzen wins:
